White elephants loom,
Frozen,
Moribund,
Yet Waltz through the atmosphere amid brothers and sisters.
Chasing each other in an armageddon of diatomic particles,
They sing.
They smile over brick road graveyards,
Whispering "Oh, how I loved you"
Then lie together amongst streetlight kings.
Death before rebirth.
Cities in winter.
